I was never very close with Tyler, but I was his classmate for 3 years. He always brightened everyone’s morning and I was so happy to chat with him in class each Thursday and Friday. It didn’t matter how bad my day was I knew he’d never fail to make me laugh. I am so, so heartbroken about him and his friends and family, my deepest condolences for you all. He was far, far too young. I still remember my first ever P.E class in secondary school, and the sight of him running from one end of the hall to the other, ever so full of energy. I remember him having an off day and missing every shot he took when we were playing basketball, and he laughed it off anyway. I’m so crushed he’s not here anymore, and I will always, always keep my memory of him dearly. Again, my sincerest condolences to his friends and family ❤️

This is a message for all young people especially those who knew Tyler, too many young people have departed this life as a result of fighting the pain of depression a number of whom you would know personally. I am not dismissing your pain but believe me when I say its a permanent solution to a temporary problem I know because I have been there minutes
from doing exactly that, for the sake of yourself, your family and your friends seek help talk to someone anyone you are wonderful you deserve better. Bless you all xx

A big piece of my heart died today watching Tyler's funeral, I don't know you all and please forgive me for intruding but I just wanted to say Tyler was blessed with loving strong parents, adoring brothers and grandparents and idolise by his friends, team mates, coaches and peers, the lovely priest who celebrated his funeral a friend and someone Tyler turned too and trusted, I promise from Christmas eve you as a family and community have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be so...
Please please stay strong, I am so sorry but I needed you to know the affect his life and death had on me and I'm a stranger..
