To Vinny, Pamela and Neidin, we are heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful Una who was such a wonderful and gentle person. A loving mother and wife and a beautiful friend to us all, it’s such a sad loss to all the knew her, she was one of my Mams closest friends and supported my Dad through his loss, something we will never forget and hold so dear.

The friendship between the Colgan’s and the Beglane’s was extraordinary, those many holidays to France and Spain will be forever cherished in my heart. All the family occasions we shared and at the heart of all the fun and laughs - Una and my Mam.

I am not surprised at the widespread sadness at the death of Una. Those who spent time in her company received the benefits of her kind nature,
her spirit of fun, her cheerful conversation and her generous spirit. She was a great asset at the hospital where she worked *St Josephs* A welcoming smile, patience, sympathy and consideration - That is what is needed in a hospital situation - Una had that in spades.
Una has died now, but her spirit will live on in the memories of all those she touched in life. We should remember to tell people this while they live.
