My sincere condolences to Lorraine and all the family on the passing of the wonderful Mrs Beirne - as she was fondly known to us in Laurence's. A lady who always had a smile for everyone and who was well able to handle a massive surge of hungry students at lunchtime in the school canteen on any given day with such calmness! We will always remember her famous fruit cake of course and in fact at our 20 year class of '89 reunion in the Royal Marine hotel in Dun Laoghaire, we were treated to that very same cake, which brought us all right back to those school days....Thank you Mrs Beirne for your kindness. You will never be forgotten.

So very sorry to hear of Ursula’s passing. The loveliest lady and such a good friend to Judy my Mum. Ursula visited her often and really lifted my Mums spirits when she was fighting her own battle (which she sadly lost in December 2018). My family will forever be grateful for her friendship, kindness, support and the many laughs her and Mum had. I’d like to think they are having a good old catch up now….
