So Ursula has gone to her richly deserved reward. What a transformation she and her husband John effected in the the relationship between Tarbert House, estate and the conjoint wider community. Notwithstanding the beautiful lines by Tom McGreevy and the hidden treehouse built by the venturesome Joe Langan in my childhood, one approached the general ambience in some trepidation, even to the noteworthy garden for a measure of berries in due season. It was there the concept of trespass first revealed itself.
How it changed on the due arrival of John and Ursula. Walks reconstituted, arborial knowlege enhanced by John and the house, on occasion, opened up by Ursula to reveal the exotica contained therein while she regaled the visitor to the list of august, historical notables who sojourned there. They, and the positivity they engendered, deserves to be chronicled.
Deepest condolences to their children Ursula and Olivia and all those who grieve at her departure from this life. Níl amhras ach go bhfuil sí imithe ar shlí na fírinne.

I was so sorry to hear of Ursula’s passing , I have very fond memories of her , last saw her when we went out to dinner with Dor and Linda Cantrell , and I just loved hearing all her stories , Ursula was in school with my mother and my Dad Joe kiely was her god father and my aunt May kiely was her god mother , apologies I could not make it today , may she rest in peace .
