She was the first lady i met when i moved to Shannon many moons ago. I was going across to shop in Cronan and she stopped to chat and welcomed me to the area and filled me in how to get round, from then on I'd meet her all the time at the shop, the centre or just out walking but it was always a pleasure, always had a chat and you would leave her smiling. Ursula was a fabulous lady with the most beautiful natural qualities. Rest in Heavenly Peace Ursula 🌹🙏🌹

I got to know Ursula almost 40 years ago when Joanne was in the first group of children to enroll in St. Caimin’s. What a wonderful and supportive mother Ursula was! I always looked forward to meeting such a solid sensible and pleasant mother not only on the sidelines at camogie matches but also at parent/teacher meetings! Down through the years since then it has been a pleasure to meet Ursula with her smiling face in the Town Centre! Ursula will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Ursula’s contribution to the Shannon community has been immense.
