His company was always a pleasure to be in!.
I remember he said a "Special Birthday!!" Mass for me! in Clonard years ago on a Lovely SUNNY April morning!......I didn't of course tell him it was for me!! as you can only imagine!!!!what he might say off the altar but I was really "chuffed" that he was the one Celebrating my "Rounded! Birthday"!! Mass.
Sorcha your words summing up the life of your Uncle were just SPECIAL and so well prepared/Apt and well delivered.

To all of Fr Willis family and friends, I would like to pass on my sincere condolences to you all on his sad passing. I was fortunate to get to know Fr. Willie while I was a young student in St Peter’s many years ago. He was so supportive and kind to us all when there wasn’t much of that there. I was always struck by how much he always practised his beliefs, and he was one of the most impressive Christian people I ever met. I was fortunate to get to know Fr Willie much better a few years ago when he moved to Kerlogue and it was once again a joy to meet up with him. He now so deserves his heavenly rewards that he earned so much in life. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I was very lucky to have known Fr Howell through his work with Bunscoil Loreto. He was a lovely man, well liked by us all. He had a wonderful way with the children and they always enjoyed a sing song when he brought his guitar with him!
