Our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Mother. Even though I never met her, the description by Martin in his eulogy described Mrs Ahern kind and loving lady. The love for Mrs Ahern was palpable amongst the congregation and especially from Martin and grandchildren , Jake, Finn, Molly and daughter in law Tanya who all spoke so eloquently during prayers of the faithfull. My son can attest to Mrs Aherns kindness when she allowed him to park his car in her home while he was a student doctor, effectionately referring to him as the 'young doctor'. A kindness he will never forget. No doubt she will be sadly missed but I'm certain she would be proud of her send off. May she rest in peace.
