So sorry to hear this sad news . Val was a lovely lady , kind and generous and an excellent host being also a brilliant cook GED and I remember fondly delicious meals in the Bristol house with lively conversation! And Brian’s extensive cellar Such conviviality Also we enjoyed visiting them in Ireland aswell as their beloved dogs which were a real joy for Val especially after Brian’s death. An era is gone but at least her talented painting and birthday card sketches live on.

Val you will be missed. A talented artist and great cook, Val loved to entertain in her beautiful cottage. She was kind, gentle and full of humour. Condolences to Val's family and to all her great friends who were by her side the last months of her illness. Rest in Peace Val.
