My late, and deepest condolences to Valerie's sons, Mark, Paul and Graham.

I new Valerie for many years, when the boys were very young. Sadly, we lost contact when I moved to London.

As I look at an old photo, of Val holding the youngest boy, at his christening, and I, being his Godfather, brings back many memories .

My dearest Old friend Val, rest in peace. Ill soon come visit your resting place💛 Kieran.

Dear Mark, Graham, and Paul,

I was so sad to hear about Aunt Valerie’s passing.
As my godmother and Mam’s sister, she’s always held a special place in my heart. I’ll always remember her vibrant spirit—so full of life, always ready for a dance, a laugh, or a party.
She had that unmistakable sparkle in her eye and a mischievous sense of fun that brought so much joy to those around her.

Losing her feels especially hard after saying goodbye to my own Mam, Maureen, this past Christmas. It’s been a very emotional time, and it truly feels like we’ve lost a whole piece of the heart of our family.

I’ve also been thinking of Denis, and I hope they’re reunited now, together again with love and peace.

Your mum would have been so proud of you all. The strength, love, and care you’ve shown—she would have felt it deeply and carried it with her always.

Sending you all my love and deepest sympathy. I hope the memories of your mam’s laughter, her joy, and her big-hearted spirit bring you comfort in the days to come.

To Valerie's beloved boys and your families and friends, we are very sorry to hear that this brave, unique, loving force of nature has left us and we are thinking of you all at this sad time. The world is a little less joyful now but all the memories of her energy, love of life and her incredible sense of fun will hopefully fill that gap. We lost Paddy recently and he was always so very fond of Valerie. He always admired her fierce love for those she loved and how proud she was of her boys and her grandchildren. We hope that disco in the sky will be raging tonight! It's hard not to smile when thinking of her even now and that's how we will always remember her. Ann, Andrea, Linda and Paddy (RIP).
