Miss you dear friend. Glad you knew of the gold!
Valerie was a great person who made a great contribution to all those around her. We a;ways were a bit in awe of her as the senior member of our family group. My condolence to you Hilary and your family. It was a pity that Valerie had not time to celebrate her nephew's sucess at the Chelsea show. However we celebrate Valerie's life and the improvement she made in other people's lives and the community. .
My Deepest condolences to Hilary and family . I have very fond memories from early days holidaying with Valerie’s family and being spoilt by her attention. Valerie used to give me piano lessons in Pembroke Road where she would lend me books from her Malory School collection and others. I certainly gained a love for reading novels and discussing them with Valerie .

Valerie was talented in so many ways .I would look forward to her beautifully designed Christmas card each year - which were not discarded.

Ah, Valerie was a lovely person - kind, intellectual, artistic and such a pleasure to chat with - she had a wonderful memory. May Valerie Rest In Peace.
