Sincere sympathies to Ruth and family on the sad passing of your sister, Valerie. We are thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Valerie's passing at such a young age. I have fond memories of chatting to Valerie at the no. 17 bus stop on our way to UCD many years ago. Such a lovely and gentle person. May she rest in peace.

Such a wonderful service this morning, it was an honour to be able to join you all remotely; Julius you were so strong, well done!
In the few years that I knew Valerie I could see what an incredible person she was, so gentle, friendly and warm.
I also admired her love of fashion and will very much miss seeing her walk past my house wearing her amazing outfits, hats and crazy shoes!

Val was a lady - gentle, kind, loving. Our sincerest condolenses to Saak, Julius, Ruth and Emer, and all others who loved her.
