My deepest sympathy to all the O'Neill family on the sad loss of Valerie R.I.P..I have very fond memories of working with Valeie in Brown Thomas and was always struck by her boundless energy enthusiasm and determination not forgetting her winning smile and her wonderful sense of fun. Valerie never let her illness define her - she rose above it and dedicated herself so conscientiously to her career and to being there for those she loved

It was a privilege to know Valerie , firstly as a work colleague and also personally as I have a house in Duncannon. Yesterday’s celebration of her life was so beautiful. Valerie and I often met on trains , planes or trade shows and her beaming smile and enthusiasm was infectious. We got to work together recently when I returned from the Netherlands to work with Arnotts and that was a great time. Valerie and I had a coffee and tea last year in the Wild Rose cafe in Duncannon and I will treasure that last meeting . Warm regards to all of the family . My sincerest condolences to all who knew and loved Valerie. Val was a quick witted, bubbly, and engaging woman with a true passion for life. In my short time knowing Val, it struck me how she lived every day in the present moment and looked for the joy and fun in life at every turn. It was a privilege to know Val and spend time in her company.

Val spoke of her daughter Rachel with a deep sense of pride. She positively lit up when Rachel was around. Val equally spoke of Con, her partner and best friend, with love and affection.
