Sympathy to all of Valerie's family. I have fond memories of Valerie and Alma in the shop over 30 years ago, when we waited at Banks' corner for our school bus to go home. I went in most evenings and even if I was only buying a few penny sweets, I was always guaranteed a warm and friendly welcome from the ladies. She is still behind the counter with you in spirit, Alma.
