We were so very sad to hear about Valerie’s passing. I will remember with fondness always her warm, kind and generous personality, her dry and wicked sense of humour, her incredible bravery and above all her love for you both which knew no bounds. Our deepest sympathy to you both and to the Harvey and Sunner families. May this lovely lady rest in peace.

We are really saddened to hear of poor Valerie’s death. We have very happy memories of the times our children spent in the Sunner home. Dear Liam and Jamie. I was so saddened to hear of the passing of your dear Mum, Valerie.
I have such fond memories of when you were all kids, out at your home in Drumree, flying up and down the drive, on some toy or other. Or in the play room playing pool. Valerie loved having all your friends up, for dinner or tea or a sleepover. Nothing was any bother.
I remember her gentle smile, her warm personality and her very kind nature.

Dear Liam & James, my deepest condolences to you. Over these past few years I got to know your Mam, my big cousin, thanks to the wonders of technology. I looked forward to our exchange of words via messenger, Val made me laugh with her raw Irish humour and she certainly was real. I constantly shared with her that I was surrounding her with prayer. We had some interesting conversations about faith. In those moments when she was feeling low, I reminded her that she is a Harvey and Harvey’s do battle. Val showed me what true inspiration is as she battled with her illness. Her legacy and spirit will live on in you. May the choirs of Angels come to greet Val. May they speed her to paradise. May the Lord enfold her in His mercy and grant her eternal life. Sleep gentle big cuz. x x x
