Vance Harris

So sad to hear the news my condolence to his wife and his son and family and friends. I worked with Vance in the 90s and we often socialised together, a very intelligent and well educated man with a wicked sense of humour and a very open mind.

My condolences to ALL of Vance's family at this sad time. I knew him from his time in the Royal Navy and he was a very clever young man.

Dear Roisin, I wish I could say something that would help you and Taran through these heartbreaking times but let me just reassure you that I have nothing but the fondest memories of the times I spent with you and Vance, both in NY and Dublin. It was inspiring to see how much he loved you and Taran and I’m sure he left a mark on everyone he crossed paths with, as he did with me and my family.

We were very saddened to hear of Vance's untimely death and send our heartfelt condolences to his beloved Roisin and Taran and to all the Morris family at this unbearably sad time for you all.

Such a devastating loss, I have to words to express how awful it is, and no words that can be of comfort. How to move from sharing a life to memories of that life? Vance was such a kind and generous partner, father and friend, and I cannot imagine the loss of that. One of the last times I saw him Taran was sitting on his lap saying "Dadddy's little boy."
