I met Vanessa as part of a secondary school Skills at Work programme in Kildare. Vanessa delivered a module on customer service with amazing aplomb and held the students undivided attention. They loved her presentation as did the teachers. She was an amazing communicator and it was our great pleasure to work with her. My sincerest sympathy to her family on the passing of a wonderful person.
Katherine, so sorry to hear the sad news. Thinking of you all.
So very sad to hear about Vanessa. We met on a skiing holiday eight years ago with mutual friends. She was charming, funny and kind. I'll always reflect on how she never complained. A lovely person whom I will miss greatly.
I am so sad to hear of Vanessa's passing, and send my deepest wishes for peace to you - Gladys, Kathryn and Jim. Vanessa and I danced around Castlerock on so many happy afternoons in the Newpark years; she was such a dear, dear friend. I light a candle in her precious memory, and in celebration of her life.

Vanessa was one of my closest friends in middle school. We were born one day apart on Christmas and Boxing Day. We often speculated that St. Patrick's Day 1965 must have been quite the party for our parents! Vanessa was one of the brightest people I ever met and I have many fond memories of our shenanigans. One of her greatest assets was her love and compassion for animals whether it be her first love, the horse, or her childhood dog, Boris. I last saw her at a school reunion and she was the same old Vanessa, smiling and engaging... and with the best darn posture in the room! I will remember her fondly and aspire to sit up straight in her memory.
