I had the privilege and the pleasure of working with Vera at Youthreach until my retirement there in 2021. Her dear sister captured her important characteristics truly and accurately in her moving eulogy this morning. Vera was true to her wording every regard, leaving no doubt as to her wonderful commitment and presence every day of her working life for all the students in her care over the years. Countless numbers of young people will forever be thankful for the love, attention, interest and care she consistently showed to every single person who came to her classes. Staff too past and present will miss her presence at Youthreach Transition Centre as will I. May you rest in Heavenly peace Vera.
