It was with great sorrow and sadness that heard about the death of Vera. Over the years Vera and her husband Des made many friends in the Wee House. Many times they brightened up our lives on dark winter evenings with music and laughter. Seven Spanish angels was one of Vera's favourite songs and now they have taken another angel home.

Really sorry to hear about the of death of Vera. Sincere condolence to the Devaney family and extended family. I met Vera this night fortnight in the Wee House. Vera and her husband Dessie would be in for the trad session on a Friday nights. Sometimes her daughter Veronica would be with them.
Vera was lovely lady always available for a smile and a chat.
