A beautiful generous, caring and fun person, Vera brought all those gifts to her work with patients in St Mary's and their families, including ours. She always made time for people with a reassuring word and warm smile. And she has been there for so many people in the town in good times and bad. I will miss our chats on Facebook.

She leaves a lovely legacy and I know one which which will be filled with beautiful memories for you.

Vera was a beautiful lady from inside to outside. You must be so proud to have been able to call her your Wife , your son, your daughter, your Mother in law , your Grandmother, your Aunt / Uncle and Cousin .
I remember well when my Mother died in1995 , Vera was one of the 1st people out here that morning to offer any and all assistance from St Mary’s Hospital and her own personal assistance- I’ll never forget her for that . I also remember that she told me some story that morning about my Mother that made me laugh - she was just so jolly and upbeat and heart lifting. May her lovely Soul rest in eternal peace
