Sincere sympathy to Veronica's family on their sad loss. I worked with Ronnie for a few years in the 1980s, a lady of great style and generosity - whether she could afford it or not. I don't think 'resting in peace' would suit Ronnie- when there are people to meet and things to see! ' Ah, come on lads' A bed in heaven for you Ronnie.
Sincere sympathy to Ronnie's family. Ronnie was a marvellous teacher and mentor. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace.
Condolences to all the family. Veronica was always a wonderful lady to meet. We have fond memories of a morning spent in her home when photographing Ronnie for our project 'Portrait of a Century"
Sincere sympathy to Ronnie's family, on her death. She was a force of nature, of song and of commitment to her art. And she achieved great things, in a very practical way too. She gave so much over the decades , and will be greatly missed by all who love music, as well as her family and close friends.
Sincere sympathy to the family on Ronnie's sad death. With fond memories of when she, Judy and Kevin joined us for a trip to Salzburg some years ago. She was great fun.
My sincere condolences to Judy, Peter and their families on the passing of Ronnie. It was a great pleasure to have known her and to have been her student. Many laughs we had together, laced with her racy humour. My best to you all at this time.
My deepest sympathy to all the family. Ronnie's passion for music had a huge impact on my life and as my singing teacher, she taught me about the joy of music. From that I have enjoyed a career in music and I now share her passion too. Rest in peace Ronnie.
While I never won the coveted distinction of being one of Veronica's own students, I was a pupil of the great Patricia Lillis here in Galway, who had herself been a student of Veronica. I also had the privilege of receiving some of Veronica's knowledgeable feedback on my singing when I was trying to make a go at the opera game in Dublin in 2008. Many happy memories from the 1990s of being introduced to the pleasures of the National Concert Hall by my late aunt Mary Corcoran (of Kilmacud Rd. and RTE Radio 1) who was a regular attendee there. Learning now of Veronica's vital contribution to the NCH, and thinking of everything else I have heard about Veronica over the years, there can be no doubt that she has left an enduring and remarkable musical legacy.
Sincere sympathy to her family and friends at this difficult time.

Deepest sympathy to Ronnie's family at this sad time. I had the privilege of being Ronnie's student in late 70's and she changed how I thought of singing and performing. Her care, passion and down-to-earth practicality for her students and their success was powerful. Ronnie's legacy will live on for many, many years. RIP Veronica Dunne.
Sincere sympathy to Peter, Judy and family.
I watched NATIONWIDE Programme. To me, Mrs. Dunne was a beautiful gift to all her Interest Pupils. She did fantastic work in helping all the children of God.

To Peter, Judy and extended family, our heartfelt condolences at this sad time. Ronnie was an inspirational teacher and mentor to my sister, Miriam. My mother and I will be eternally grateful for Ronnie's care and friendship to Miriam and ourselves over the years. Her kindness and support following Miriam's untimely and sudden death meant a lot to us. Leaba i measc na naomh go raibh aici.
Dear Ronnie,
It was an honour to serve with you for five years on the National Concert Hall Board. You are the main reason the Hall has a beautiful pipe organ today - our fundraising trip to Denver and Dallas with Gerard Gillen in that connection will always be a happy memory. Your gaiety, warmth and wicked sense of humour were a constant joy. How can I forget your inimitable toast: "Here's to your blue eyes; may they never meet!"?

Deepest condolences to Veronica's Family.
I got to know Veronica for a short time in the mid 80's. Fresh out of college and in my first job she picked me up on a wet morning at my bus stop on Bushy Park Road and offered me a lift to St Stephens Green. From that day on, any time she spotted me she gave me a lift and we enjoyed many funny, wide ranging conversations on our trip into town. She also enjoyed the fact that I knew some of her pupils from college !
A lovely warm lady with a great ability to understand the younger persons perspective which I am sure stood to her as a great teacher.
