Vera had a wonderful ability to recall names of people & their relations, places & town lands and events of many years, even decades past.
She was a great conversationalist and it is with great fondness I recall she(with others) visiting the home of my late aunt, Margaret Byrne nee Glancy in Dublin whereby the night hours would fleet by due to the richness of conversation & diversity of discussion.
