We sadly mourn today the passing of our close family friend and esteemed retired colleague Vera. We had the great honour and privilege of having had her in our lives for many years. Vera would never leave you down, she was without question one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she was always devoted, loyal, compassionate, respectful, wise and true to her word.

Vera held lifelong devotion to to the loving memory of Steve her late husband and also to her adored family, she always had their wellbeing at heart. Two of her passions in life were her many bingo events and her “bacon & cabbage dinners “ shared at the South County with her treasured friend Marianne.

Vera will never leave our hearts and will forever be remembered in our prayers, she will be sadly missed by us, the staff and her many friends at the South County.
