Was saddened to hear of Vera's passing. We have been friends for 69 years. We worked together at a hospital in Highgate, London. Wonderful memories of a dear friend.

I remember wonderful Vera from the first day we moved from Belleek to Corracloon, Easter Saturday 1972 and Francie had put the fire on in the living room before we arrived.
Another fond memory was when I used to walk through the fields to get drinking water from the well in front of Kelly’s house and if Vera ever spotted us, she would ensure to invite me in for tea and biscuits, maybe cake. Vera always sent us a Christmas card in NY without fail. We will miss her, what a wonderful lady, God rest her soul.💜 John and Susan Keaney and family

I only have happy memories of the warm, genuine welcome from Vera, every time I knocked on the door to visit, from when I was a small child to more recent times home on holidays from London. You would only be in the door and Vera would be making tea with apple tart or biscuits on offer. Vera has a very special place in my heart, rest in peace 💜. Joan, Ruairi and Grace. Xxx
