I have only just seen the news of Veras passing. My sincere condolences to all of the Langton family.
Noel & Vera were great friends of my parents Willie & Eileen.
I have such lovely memories of your mother. She was a beautiful, gentle lady.
May she rest in peace reunited with your Dad Xx

To Miriam, Deirdre,Barbara,Geraldine and Declan. God bless Aunty Vera, she was a wonderful person to be around, always sharing knowledge and understanding. Vera was also my godmother,never forgot a birthday, which in later years was unbelievable as her extended family are now great grandchildren.
RIP Vera you will be very much missed, however never forgotten. Gra mor.

I first met Vera in primary school and then by lucky coincidence when I got married I moved in around the corner from herself and Noel. We had great times together in the Civil Defense, where we could be just Vera and Maura and not Mammy for a few hours each week. In later years after we moved to Sligo Vera was always a welcome guest. Such a warm,wise, gentle woman and good friend to me, I will miss her very much. I can only imagine what a loss it is for you all. May her memory be a blessing for you. I am sure she is resting peacefully now.

Deirdre, Declan, Adam and the extended family, sincere condolences. Although I didn’t know your Mam, Declan painted a picture of a strong, committed and energetic woman when he spoke at the funeral mass. She seems to have been an extraordinary woman and it was lovely to see the Guard of Honour from the Civil Defence too. It spoke volumes about the woman she was. May Vera Rest in Peace. My beautiful Aunty Vera we said goodbye to you today and it was a service made to measure for you. To all the Langton family, the Colgans, Fitzgeralds, Mahons and to anyone else who held her dear. Our love and prayers are with you from Melbourne. I have so many happy memories of being around Vera both at home in Dublin as a young kid and over here in Melbourne as a mum myself. Vera was a lady that you couldn’t help but love. May she rest in peace, and be re-united with other loved ones. 🙏

So hard to remember that it was 52 years ago when I first met her. But I remember Vera as a wonderfully elegant and very fine lady in every way. Vera put her considerable plant knowledge to good use at the Plant Stall, which she ran with great success for many years, at the annual Malahide horticultural shows. May she rest in peace.

Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of Vera's passing. I feel privileged to have known her and grateful that my children were equally privileged to call her 'Granny Vera'.

I’ve been lucky enough to live next door to Vera for my entire life, and as next door neighbours go, she was one of the greats! Always such a kind and friendly person and never without a smile on her face. We will miss her dearly. Thinking of all of Vera’s family over these next few days.
