With great sadness we learned of Vera's death. My dear Sister Jodie, along with Vera, and Mary Digan (Doran) started their nursing career together in England many years ago. That was the beginning of a friendship that lasted throughout their lives, as a result we got to know two of the finest young ladies God put on this earth. May the light of heaven shine on Vera as she renews friendship with her own family and enjoys a chat with Jodie.

Fond memories of Vera during late 70s into 80s when I babysat for the Vale household. More than kind and a wonderful wife to Jim, and Mum to David, Catherine, Peter and Fiona.
