So sorry to learn of Vons recent passing.I was from a vibrant Dun Laoghaire,& Von was a child hood friend (& kept me from going off the rails)when I use to have mandatory 2 week holidays in Stackallen with my Granny Barnes & Aunt Tessie Barnes who were neighbours of the Rowan family.Only met Von once later in life at a dinner party, she reminded me that I gave her my green bike to keep. Vons name came up regularly when I stayed at the Ballymascanlan Hotel for the Court sessions in Dundalk, & when I occasionally popped in to see her dad, Tommy on my way back to Greystones.My sincerest condolences to the Ward family and the Rowans.Rest in peace.

I admired her initiative and how she always stood up and took ownership.
