Fr Fleming was attached to my primary school (The Rock NS) for a number of years until he left Mountmellick. I was only a chap, but I have memories of him being a kind, genial man. Sorry to hear of his death and condolences to all of his family. RIP.

Fr Joe was a truly lovely man and a pleasure to know. He always took great interest in people and how life was treating them. He had a lovely sense of mischief and was beautifully spiritual. Though we haven't met much in recent years, I will always cherish the memories of a man of faith and goodness.
I could go on...but know that Joe is safe in the arms of his maker. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal.
