We all wish to extend our sincere sympathy to all the Brady and Tully families and everyone who miss his presence. We knew him when he ministered in Ballinagleara and Dobally. He was very special. He immersed himself in the lives of the community sharing their joys and sorrows and he supported them in every way possible. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

We are heartbroken to say goodbye to such a lovely, caring, saintly yet wonderfully humorous uncle and priest. He was one of those rare people who made you feel instantly at ease — whether through his kindness, his quiet wisdom, or his warm, cheeky smile.
His faith was deep and steady, but so was his humanity. He had a special way of making people feel seen, comforted, and valued, and he brought light into even the hardest moments. So many of us were touched by his guidance, his prayers, and his gentle encouragement, and we are all better for having known him.
We will miss his laughter, his compassion, and the calm strength he gave to everyone around him.
Though our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the love and goodness he shared so freely throughout his life.
May he now rest in peace, reunited with God, surrounded by the love he gave to so many. He will never be forgotten.
He has gone home but he will be missed by us all .love you .

I was sad to hear of the passing of Fr. Phil. He was our Prefect in St. Pat's in Cavan when I went there in 1960 and captain of the McRory Cup winning team that year. I always enjoyed meeting him down the years. He had such a warm and positive attitude towards life and about people.
As I am away I regret I am unable to attend his funeral.
