So sorry to hear of the death of Fr. John. My first contact with him was in mid ‘60’s in St. Peter’s College, and later on when he was attached to The Mission House in Enniscorthy. I had the privilege of bringing the blessed sacrament to him in his final weeks. A true gentleman of the church. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.

In my own experience he was most helpful to all of us involved in the renovation of St Mochua's Chapel with the acqusition of the unique set of Stations of the Cross and the beautiful Tabernacle.

An underage hurling selector in Oulart during a successful period for the club who always encouraged the youth to be the best they could be. I worked under him when he was panto director in Oulart for many years, he brought great enthusiasm organisation professionalism but above all fun to the whole thing. Had the pleasure of working with Fr Jordan on pantomime in Screen many years ago and he was a gentleman to the core.

He married us in Oulart in 1998 and made our day so special and with his Rogue humour it made us all remember that day .
My late Father John McGrath Oulart had a lovely friendship with Father Jordan and remained so after his retirement.

Jordan when he produced 11 of our Pantomimes here in Screen. A nicer and better producer you could not work with and he put us on road to success with his productions. Rest in Peace Fr.
