Sincere sympathy to all the parishoners of Clogherhead who loved Fr Willie a very down to earth priest. A great Dundalk native a peoples priest a man of God. May Fr William PE now rest in peace in his heavenly home with the Lord. Amen.
Fr Murtagh a great friend to our family since his arrival to Clogherhead many years ago .He dipped his flag in our homes and hospital or indeed anywhere his parishioners were to be found. Just a lovely man .Always in our memories Ar dheis de agat RIP

Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of such a wonderful man, Fr W Murtagh. Ever since his arrival as parish priest in Clogherhead, we all have very fond memories of him, a real people person cycling around the village and surrounding areas on his bike. It is an end of an era for Clogherhead, may he rest in peace.
So many wonderful memories of Fr. Murtagh over the years. A wonderful caring priest and great with the school kids. May he rest in peace always.
