Lovely memories of Fr Bertie in Hamilton, Glasgow with our uncle Reverend Father Bernard (Brian) Oates gone since 1988 but not forgotten and our father Noel Oates who passed away in 2011.

My sympathies and condolences to the family of Fr Liam O'Regan on his passing. I served as an altar boy in Cooldorrihy church in Kilmichael when Fr O'Regan was parish priest around 1990. I remember him always smiling, a kind and welcoming man, and I am sad to hear of his passing.

Sorry to hear of Fr o Regans passing from this life. A curate here in kilmichael in the 1970s. A great friend of my late parents Micheál & kitty Murray ballina toames. He trained us in underage football with the kilmichael team. He often visited us here in ballina and used to play a bit of SOCCER with my twin brother Micheál and myself donall in the kitchen with my grandfathers socks rolled up as a ball and the goal posts were the legs of our STANLEY NO 9 COOKER while my poor mother was trying to bake brown bread in the same oven. He made the whole family laugh . A
wonderful friend of my late grandfather Michael . GAA was the topic of the day. Bless you Fr o Regan Rest in Peace.

It is with great sadness to hear of Canon Liam death. Such a wonderful, caring and hard working person. He had time for every one. We were all made feel so special in his company.

of a much respected and long established Kinsale Family.An accomplished hurler & golfer
with a great love for Gaelic Culture and Language.He was a most sociable, engaging and generous Man who was well liked by his fellow Priests and Parishioners in all areas he served and administrated.He had a great interest in all aspects and activities associated with the GAA especially Kinsale whom he played with and where his late Father and Brother were former Officers.
