Rest in peace father John, your positivity and kindness will live on through many.
Sincere sympathy Vincent, Mary and your family - apologies that I made an error with names when sending the previous message. Indeed I have fond memories of you as a family. God bless and comfort you and all John's family.
What a shock I got this morning when I was logging onto one of the church's websites and read the notice that Fr. John had died in September - though we hadn't met for years since he gave classes to students in our Secretarial Colleges I value so much his presence, his sound wisdom, his ease and genuine style of communicating with good humour, sincerity and hope. The Church needs his legacy. What a loss to you - Michael and Mary, your lovely family and all the Wall families. John's spirit surely lives on and he will continue to be an inspiration. With sincere sympathy, remembrance in prayer and may memories comfort you.
Pottering on the computer and remembering times past, I googled 'John Wall' and was saddened to read of his recent death. From 1972 to 1973, John welcomed me to Ballyfermot and was a kind and hospitable mentor. Many years have passed, but the memory of his goodness to me live on. My sympathies and prayers go out to you, his family and friends.
Sincere condolences to all the extended Wall families.

Desperately sorry to hear of John's passing.
I owe so much to him for where I am in my life today in terms of community work and what has passed before.
Though we partly lost touch on and off over the years, knowing he was there was always good comfort and when we did communicate it was like we had spoken just days before.
That was the nature of the man.
I send sincerest condolences to all of the family and John's closest of friends and I thank him for so much he has given of himself to others and to his faith over the years.
A remarkable man.
Truly loved and missed.

What kind man. Every time he'd see me he'd say "Dia Dhuit Alana, my friend". Hadn't seen Fr. Wall since my Nan passed away a few years ago. He came to the house and had a few of us guessing his middle name for ages! Now thinking back I think it was to keep our minds off of things.
What an honour to have known you, my friend. John Sebastian Wall.
3 things you always told me to carry through the tough times. Peace, Love and Joy!

To Marie and family my sincere sympathy; I know John will Rest In Peace Upabove; he deserves the best seat. I remember John in the late 50’s, as we the lads from The Castle, Colaiste Mhuire, Synger, CUS and Jambo met after school on the grassy slopes by the Halfway House . And John was always the one of sound, steady and solid advice and influence. This continued in his ministry where he excelled in so many ways of Catholic and Christian practical doctrine. Recalling his first public Mass in Drimnagh, John will always be in our thoughts and prayers. He did so much and influenced so many.
