So shocked and sad to hear of the sad passing of Fr John (RIP) he was a very kind, caring person. Our thoughts & prayers are with his family at their sad loss.
My sincere sympathy at this very sad time
Very saddened to hear about Fr. John's passing. I have never forgotten his kindness in taking time out of his itinerary to visit me while I was in India in 1984 and his genuine welcome to me on returning to Wexford.

I remember John very well in Maynooth and was deeply saddened by his death. Always a very friendly , kind and thoughtful person who is now with the Lord he sought to serve so well. May he rest in peace.
I am so shocked to hear of John's death. I did some work with him many years ago and I did not see him for a number of years, but his gentleness and caring left a lasting impression on me. He was a true gentleman, with a big heart and a caring nature. May he rest peacefully in the deep peace of the quiet earth.
It is a with a heavy heart that I write this concerning my old and gentle giant, friend, John, but I do know that John is now resting in the peaceful and all understanding hands of "The Good Lord".

I was very sorry to hear of the very sad passing of Fr. John. My deepest sympathy to his mother and extended family will always remember how very good John was to me in the past especially in my own grief at the passing of a loved one may he rest in eternal peace. RIP

Deeply saddened to learn of John's death. John was a very fine and much-esteemed former classmate of mine in Maynooth. Sincere sympathy to his family! You are in my prayers and I will offer Mass on St Patrick's Day for John and for the family.
