Violet used to come on holidays to her uncle Willie's in Adamstown with Auntie Poll when she was young. He was very fond of her. Later on, she came to visit regularly with Harry. Harry would always be laden with a box of Violet's baking and jams. I remember her as a good - humoured, generous and energetic person.
May she rest in peace.
