I knew Vincent from Balbriggan Cycling Club. Over many years on Sunday mornings I enjoyed his company on our group spins. He was a lovely man and great company. Please accept my condolences to his family and friends.

Vincent and I served on PSI Council five decades ago. He had a great pride in the development of professional standards in pharmacy. He also excelled in community development and remarkably in long-distance cycling. He was passionate and fair in debate.

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. Vincent provided such calm and compassionate support to the Balbriggan community. He wilI be greatly missed. I have fond memories of the bell ringing, as I headed in the door with my pocket money to buy last minute Christmas presents. There was always a warm welcome.
