On the death of Vincent, we extend sincere sympathy to his wife Keara, sons and daughters Dónall, Muireann, Déirdre and Diarmuid, siblings Margaret and Fergus, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Vincent was a colleague and friend of mine in St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra and, in recent years, a treasured member of our Whatsapp group. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh sé.

Vincent was a positive leader during his tenure at Ballinora school and always had the students best interests at heart. He was a true gentleman with a great sense of fun and good humour.

I was sad to hear of Vincent's death. I regularly met him at Mass and also on his bike, where he loved talking about Cork's fortunes in all Gaelic games. sadly, I missed the funeral, as I was waiting for it to be announced for the Church of the Real presence. Vincent was a great husband and father and I know that you will all miss him. God Bless and take care!
