To Clodagh, Mark and family - I am very sorry for your loss albeit belated. Not sure where you guys are in the world but it would be good to meet up at some point.
Deepest sympathy to Vincent's wife Anne, and family and his extended family.
Vincent achieved so much in his life and indeed contributed hugely to Ireland in the employment sphere and in technological development.
For me though it was five happy years sharing an office with Vincent in Upper Mount Street with an embryonic LM Ericsson. It was there that he expanded his vision of the company but I will always remember his warmth and friendship towards someone not as gifted in those skills that he had. A true gentleman and as people have said a patriot in the truest sense .
Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.
My sincere sympathy Anne and to all your family . Vincent was one of life’s gentlemen ..
Sincere sympathy to Anne and family on Vincent’s death. He was a businessman of vision who went the extra mile to help and advise people and add his shoulder to the wheel of technological development and industrial development in Ireland..
May Vincent Rest in Peace.
Peerless in business, generous in spirit and sadly missed.
So sorry to hear of Vincent's passing. Deepest sympathy to Anne and all the Daly Family at this sad time. I have great memories of Ericsson Chase days at Leopardstown. Vincent was always an absolute gentleman to deal with and may he rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to Anne, Stephen, Clodagh and all the Daly family
Very sorry to hear of Vincent passing and condolences to Anne and the extended family. He qualifies as what Dean Swift called a patriot ‘a man who made two blades of grass grown where one grew before’. We spent many happy hours trying to trace the extended Daly/O’Daly diaspora from Dromnea, Kilcrohane as well as other families on the Muintervara Peninsula. I was aware of a number of acts of his benevolence in funding cultural and community projects. He took pains to keep his involvement below the radar. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. Pat Crowley, Dalkey Co. Dublin and Ahagouna, Durrus.

Deepest sympathy to the Daly family on Vincent’s sad passing. He was one of the driving forces behind making his long-term employer one of the largest tech workforces in Ireland at the time while encouraging innovation, and providing top class pay, benefits & conditions. Borrowing the words of others - Vincent did his country some service.
Sincere condolences to Vincent's family from Gordon Murphy. Vincent was a true force of change, born in a time when Ireland needed innovators and pioneer thinkers. He could sell a vision and build it. Always eschewing praise he favoured naming others around him or simply the 'boys' as he called them who were there from the start of Ericsson in Ireland. In truth it was himself at the nucleus, the engineer creator with the skill nationally and internationally to bring prosperity to parts of Ireland that still witness his impact today. May he rest in peace.
Deepest sympathy to Anne and family and to Michael Kevin and Sheilagh on the passing of Vincent RIP-may he now rest peacefully in his Heavenly home-my prayers are for you all at this sad time-with love Criona
