I was really saddened when I heard of Vincent’s passing this week.

I recalled many great memories I shared with Vincent from the early days of meeting him when we drove up to collect Humphrey Go Kart in Bangor (parking his car in a controlled zone) , two Round Ireland races, winning 1st in class in one of them, numerous ISORA races across the Irish sea, regattas and many, many Dublin Bay races. Vincent loved his sailing and was a true gentleman. He was very understanding and supportive at a very difficult time for me many years ago and for that I will be forever grateful.
