Harv was a unique character and one of life's true gentlemen. I have such treasured and fond memories of travelling the length and breadth of the country as a child while he was managing county football teams.
Rest easy Harv, you have more than deserved it.

He was a great Mentor, Coach, Motivator and Character.
Back in the day, he was a big part of my footballing life and I was lucky to be a member of his Carlow “U21 Club”. He took us on a journey and gave us great Hope, Confidence and Self belief both on and off the pitch. I’m still feeling it today that we couldn’t reward Himself and Paudie Doyle with Victory!
Vinny’s family and all who knew him have lost a very Special Man and I too will miss him now that he has left the Pitch.
