From reading the wonderful tributes to him it clearly was my loss. So sorry to realise he was living so close to where I now reside without meeting up with him.

I have had the great privilege of getting to know Vincent during the time we lived in Cahir, and I always enjoyed and felt blessed by his company, faith, stories, acceptance and wisdom.

Vincent has left to his heavenly home to his Heavenly Father with whom he walked with on earth and with whom he enjoyed a great friendship. His arrival will indeed be a welcoming one in the heavenly places where the heavenly hosts will enjoy his company. I knew Vincent as a man of God and one who respected Gods creation and its creatures. He lived life to the full and the memories I have of visiting him and Teresa in their farm will always be treasured.

We were in the same class in Rockwell , he as a day student and me as a border.He would purchase boxes of penny toffee bars for me and I would sell them on in the school for two pence.Vincent was such a good friend.
