Amelia, I was so sad to hear that your poor Dad passed away. I have such fond memories of staying with you all in Belmullet & Blacksod. I had so much fun with Vincent and "Grannie Annie". The hospitality was always second to none and the craic was mighty. Gosh we had some laughs in the Lobster Pot and then back in the house with the accordian and sing songs. Never to be forgotten. 😊
I'm truly sorry for the suffering Vincent had to go through and I hope he is at peace now.

Sincere and heartfelt sympathy to you Ann, Áine, Amelia, Stephen, Eileen, Vinny and extended family on the sad passing of your beloved Vincent. We were heartbroken to hear that Vincent had passed away. I have very fond memories of working with him in the old Vocational School and also in St. Brendan's. He was a caring and wonderful colleague and a dedicated and gifted teacher. Outside of work, there was always a welcome for everyone in Vincent's and Ann's home and we spent many great nights there enjoying their hospitality. Vincent was one of life's true gentlemen.
Hope the wonderful memories you all have of him will be a source of comfort to you in the difficult days and months ahead.
