Vincent Moran

I have very fond memories of Vincent taking us all around Westport. He was such a fun and lovely man and he loved all our stories. We would always remind him that we we were Martin Coghlan nieces. He was great crack and we remember him for all the stories and laughs we had in the taxi. May he rest in peace x

I am truly heartbroken to hear of Vinny's passing. My sincere condolences to Angela, Simon, Ivan and all the Moran Family. Vinny was such a wonderful person, a real witty, funny Gentleman. As a young female in the 90s socialising in Westport with my friends, Vinny became our regular Saturday night taxi driver. Vinny always looked out for us, making sure we all got home ok and never left without a lift and pay him again if we didnt have enough money. Along with being a Gentleman, he became our great friend and we had some laugh. We were always laughing and his jolly laugh, he just had that amazing personality with the funniest one liners. He had a little nickname on us all and they were so apt to each of us. I last got a taxi with Vinny in May of this year when I was home, we hadnt seen each other in a few years and again the craic and laugh we had and I was honour to introduce him to my Husband and Children as the True Gent who always took care of us and made sure we got home safely. We had a big hug and said goodbye, I didnt think it would be the last one. Rest in peace Vinny, Thank you for the wonderful memories and you will be so missed around the town 💖

Sorry to hear the sad news of Vincent may he Rest in Peace. Vincent stayed with my family in Bristol, England, when he was young. He was rushed to hospital one morning with appendicitis he may have mentioned that to his family as they grew up. I hope for
