I am very sad to hear of Vincent's passing. He has been a very influential and important person to me for the past 15 years. I first got to know him as my teacher, when I was a student at Loreto Secondary School. He taught me touch sign language, and we developed a strong friendship over the years. I will miss him very much, and my deepest sympathies are with his sister Kathleen, his other family members and relatives, his fellow residents and the amazing staff at St Josephs, and everyone who has been inspired by Vincent's patience, generosity, love, loyalty and good-nature throughout his long life. May he rest in peace.
