I met Vincent for the first time this year when partnered with him at a golf tournament. He was great fun and a good ( once great I’m sure) golfer . His personality was such that I felt we were friends for life from then on - such was the warm heart and welcoming nature of the man. Though recently encountered he made a great impression on me - I cannot imagine the depth of anguish his family and those close to him must feel at his sudden passing. Like many others , I feel his loss . May he rest in peace.

Our thoughts are with the whole O’Rourke, Casey, and extended family at this very difficult time. Uncle Vincent was an amazing gentleman who raised an even more amazing family. He was so kind and loving to us on our trip home last year and Logan has such fond memories of time at Aunty Moira and Uncle Vincent’s house. Vincent was always so patient with us “city kids” on our summers home, whether it was with golf tips, teaching us some GAA skills or just being there for a laugh and a bit of craic. He will be sorely missed but never, ever forgotten. He lives on forever in his children and grandchildren. To Aunty Moira, Vince, Lloyd, Leona, Sonya, Maria and their families; we love you with all our hearts. To Vincent’s nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, we share in your sadness and will continue his legacy in our shared memories. RIP Uncle Vincent; we love you.
