Vincent my deepest sympathy to all your family members may you rest in peace. Many many moons ago we were kids and with Paddy and Eamon going to the same school we grew up thinking we could take on the world, happy and carefree days. I will never forget your friendship. RIP Vincent.

We are truly sorry to hear that Vincent has passed away. We offer our heartfelt sympathy to Mary, Emily, Robert, David and the extended Prunty & Adams families as you mourn his passing. Thinking also of Vincent's neighbours and many friends at this very sad and lonely time.

The Prunty family have been part of our lives for many years. We have lovely memories of Eamon, Ciss and family from Clancy Road staying with our beloved parents Michael & Sally Gielty in Clew Bay Guest House Achill. We looked forward to their visits - sing songs in the bar were guaranteed and also the odd game of very competitive pool, where names such as The Bullet were used! Post game analysis often happened around Sally's kitchen table, where the kettle was always on the boil. Happy, carefree days.

Re-united with his lovely parents Eamon & Ciss and his sister Geraldine, may Vincent rest in eternal peace.xx

My deepest sympathy to Mary and Vince’s family on this very sad loss.I was so sorry not to be able to be at Vince’s funeral.Our paths crossed a lot through the entertainment business and Vince was always a joy to chat with.He had a great love for music and photography and wrote some beautiful songs.An out and out gentleman…rest in peace Vince .

Deepest condolences, Mary, Emily and Robert. I have very fond memories of the time spent in Clare with you all after you made the move west. Vincent was a great man.

He called me the fisherman and I called him the musician, I know which one of us was truly talented.

Recently, he had a tremendous desire to get a greyhound in my door. He’d heard Tracey’s dad kept them when she was young, so he was on a mission. There’d be the odd message here and there telling me that the house would be complete with a greyhound sitting beside Tracey, along with links to greys needing homes and tags for me and Trace with a cheeky comment. I reckon they were in it together, but I know really it was a clever way to keep in touch and open a conversation with a nephew who’d grown up. I loved that.

A clever, kind and affectionate soul who always wanted a bite and a laugh out of me and regularly got them and also a man of real integrity and principles.

I’ll miss him dearly while cherishing the memories. Rest in peace Vince.
