Heartbroken to hear of you leaving us Vinnie, we always thought you’d go without telling us but yet we can’t believe it. We’d so many fun times together it’s hard to think you’re not rolling around in your scooter with Max anymore. Hanging out in the brown envelope and listening to your Sade records into the early hours are just some of our great memories. We miss you lots and so do the kids to who you gave treasured presents to.
Le grá

So sorry to hear of Vincent's passing . A geeat character whom I have known for over 45 years. We only fitted new tyres on his mobility scooter a few weeks ago & had a good old chin about times past. May he rest in peace.
Your wit and humour will be missed greatly. Condolences to the family on Vincent’s passing. May he rest in peace.

RIP Vinny ❤️
Rip Vincent. 💐thinking of the Smith family at this sad time💔
I was so very saddened to hear of the unexpected passing of "Vintage Vinny". Although we personally met on only a handful of occasions, I felt I knew him so well through his longtime friendship with my son Ian. Taken too soon, Vinny was a truly irreplaceable friend to Ian. They shared so many interests and he was a hugely important figure in Ians life. I know, first hand, what a huge hole his passing is already having, and always will have in Ians heart and in his life.

Vinny was first and foremost a proud Dublin gent, a unique colourful character, kind, caring, full of life, humour with endless entertaining informative and interesting stories. Condolences to his family, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace.
RIP Dooley 🙏
Very sorry to hear the sad news about Vinny. May he R.I.P.
Rest in peace Vincent, he will be missed by so many, an outgoing, interesting and knowledgeable man our condolences to all family and friends.
Rest in Peace Vinny and my condolences to the Smith family.

I have fond memories of the yarns you told in Fallons, especially the one where you said you threw Britt Ekland out of your shop for some indiscretion or other...!
Deepest condolences to Vincent’s family,
He was such a great character and will be missed around Maxwell road.
Rest in peace.
Sad to see you go, my good friend. My 'new' kids reckoned you were a great guy when we met about 10 days ago, with your mental Dublin wit. We had a great time over the years, the crack, the laughs, the limousines, and all the other madness..... Making a few quid and blowing it just as quick, or quicker. It's like the end of that movie 'Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead', when they're al banjaxed and the older guy says 'We did the things'..... Vinnie, we sure 'did the things'......... great memories of stuff other people can only dream of...... mad nights out.... Prince Vince.... You're the main man........ Don't dream it, be it ! As our good mate Bobby D. said in 'The King Of Comedy'...... 'Its better to be king for a night, than a schmuck all your life'.... We had those nights..... I can't remember a lot of what went on..... What I can remember was mental..... I love you.... You're a great friend...... Sleep well..... You did good.... GREAT, in fact...
Rest in peace with the angels Vinnie.
Rest in peace Dooley

So sorry to hear of Vinny’s passing. He was indeed an eccentric character with a cheeky sense of humour. I always enjoyed a little drink with him in falons. He always had a story to tell. He gave me a lovely painting of the liberties many years ago and I still have it to this day. I will always think of him fondly when I look at it🥰. May his gentle soul rest peacefully forever and more. Jackie &Alan Doolan
