My deepest condolences to Carol , Valerie , Barbara and Greg and all her beloved grandchildren and to the rest of the family on the loss of a very special lady . I know she loved and was v proud of her children and all her grandchildren and wider family . Having had the opportunity to see how two of her grandchildren have grown up ( Zack and Stuart ) I can see that her impressive legacy continues through the generations . At this time of great loss I hope you can all find some comfort in the fact that Betty lived such a great life and was fortunate to die peacefully at home in her own bed in the house that was the scene of much joy and laughter . I know from many stories that she was was a wonderful wife , sibling and an extraordinary mum , grandmother and aunt and for everyone who met her their lives were enhanced . Her sense of fun and wisdom represents a wonderful role model She will be badly missed . The day seemed a lot duller when I head the news but I hope you all will find a bright light in memories of great times together .
