My condolences to Violet’s immediate and extended family on her passing. We worked together for a number of years and I remember her as a sunny outgoing colleague. I am sure she will be sorely missed.

Lauren I am so sorry to hear of your beloved Mam passing. Words are very difficult to describe the feelings you must be experiencing right now, but I know that your mam, like your dad, is smiling fondly at the woman you have become and how driven and motivated you are. I'm so very sorry to learn about Violet's passing. I worked in the same area as her for a few years. She was so kind and friendly, tremendously accomplished and expert in her job, yet always more than willing to come to the help of those of us who were sometimes clueless. When Violet was around, everything was better. My sincere sympathies to Lauren - of whom she spoke so fondly and proudly - and to all Violet's loved ones.
