Sorry to hear that Jeanne has passed away. I have such fond memories of her from when she was my next door neighbour in Ballylicky. She also gave me driving lessons, which were quite funny she told me to keep my eyes on the road, not the gas pedal, or we’d end up in the river! lol. I cherish our trips to the cafés in Bantry, our day trips along the west coast, and our conversations about all things. She will always be in my heart and memories. I hope she has lots of coffee and books to keep her occupied on the other side.

We are so saddened to learn of Jeanne's passing. She was very loved by all the team and will be sorely missed.

Everybody knew Jeanne's order. Large Americano (filled to the top, no milk), Plain Scone (with Marmalade), a turmeric cold pressed shot and usually a Kombucha.

Jeanne's warm presence and positive energy will be missed dearly by us all. Gone but not forgotten.

Jeanne was an amazing lady, we enjoyed many a chat when she visited my Craft Shop to purchase those specially chosen gifts for her close friends.
She always inspired a deeper level of reflection on every topic. Conversation knew no bounds.
I'll remember the gentleness of her voice, the love in her laughter and the tilt in her head when she was going to share some funny story.
Her vivacious spirit and the ever-present twinkle in her eye will be fondly remembered

We are so very sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. It was only last month Jeanne stayed with us, so this has come as quite a shock to a lot of us. Jeanne was always so kind to every member of staff she spoke to, always wanting to stop and chat for a few minutes at least.

In grateful memory of Jeanne. When Jeanne rang on Friday to say she was dying I hopped in car and headed to Bantry Hospital. Was amazed that she was so sure that her earthly pilgrimage was ending and she was looking forward to the adventure ahead in heavenly realm. Life was never boring with Jeanne, she always kept life interesting. We celebrated the main events of life and the calender in style. Jeanne had a great way of blending life so that the good shone out. Having been born of the Feast of St. Benedict she had great devotion to him and for many years went to Glenstall to pray and reflect. This Benedictine Spirituality was combined with her Jungian Psychology which enabled her to help many a person. Her belief in the guiding presence of the angels and that the Universe takes care of us was a very important ingredient of her spirituality. Basically her life was guided by the Holy Spirit who surprises us in wonderful ways and blends our lives to make them managable. So as this life was never boring, may Jeanne's new adventure to equally interesting. R.I.P.
