Ah Denis, so sorry to hear the news about your Mother. No doubt she is re-united with your Dad and Paul in Heaven. I have very fond memories of herself, the late Mary Carpenter and my own mother when they were involved on the Ladies Committee in Belvedere. Such happy times. They were a great bunch of women altogether. May she Rest in Peace.
Heartfelt condolences to Denis, Ciarán and your extended families on the passing of your lovely mother Virge. We have the fondest memories of her, with her great sense of fun and the warm hospitality, which she extended whenever we called to Shellingford Lodge over the years. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Sincere condolences to Denis and Ciaran on the passing of your mother Virge....now reunited with your dad Jim who was a much respected work colleague and mentor as Parks Superintendent with Dublin Corporation...both will create another rose garden in paradise
To Denis, Ciaran and your families, we express our sincere condolences on the death of your mother whom we knew as Virge. We remember her warm smile and friendship very well from our days living in Bedford Lodge beside your home in the 1970s.
Deepest sympathy to the Shannon Family on the passing of your dear mother and grandmother. May she Rest In Peace.

Dear Dennis, Helen, and family,
So sorry to hear of your family’s terrible loss. Our thoughts are with you all.
Bob, Mags, and family
We were very saddened to hear of the death of “Auntie Virge” during last week. As kids visiting from Wexford, we always considered her to represent the height of Dublin sophistication with her homemade petit fours, her lace doilies and beautifully crocheted clothes. She was always a real lady and no doubt a wonderful mother and later grandmother. Last time I saw her was exactly 26 years ago when I was home from Australia for my own Mums funeral and Virge very kindly helped look after our then 5 month old Emma whom I had in tow. Our sympathies to Denis, Kieran and families on this sad occasion.
Denis Helen and family

My deepest condolences to Dennis, Ciaran and family on the passing of your dear mum,Virge. I have very fond memories of the real lady Virge was from my visits to the family home in Clontarf when I was young and the wonderful wife and mother she was to my late uncle Jim and my cousins Paul (R.I.P.), Dennis and Ciaran. Spending time in Clontarf was my introduction to urban life and and I embraced it from the first moment. I loved playing in the streets with my cousins, wandering the parks and being so close to the beach. And Virge and her late husband Jim were always so welcoming. May she Rest In Peace with her husband Jim and son Paul.
